Rumors...

Well, someone heard that there was a big batch of TAs mailed out from China on Friday so the agencies should have them Monday. It doesn't mean our agency will get any...or if they do, that ours will be one of them. BUT WE ARE HOPING! A friend who is with our agency and also adopting from Henan mentioned there is a travel group leaving on Jan 12th. That is only 10 days away people! I just don't know how we will get everything done in time to leave...especially at work. Guess I should be working on my to do list rather than searching for rumors, ha ha.

John and I did make a big shopping trip on Friday to buy things we need for the travel. And, yesterday I went crazy shopping for clothes for Eme. But, in my defense, we didn't really have anything for her and so much was on sale!

Our pastor's message this morning was from the absolute perfect verse. Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." (This means CHINA!)

My dear friend Dawn invited me to be part of Beth Moore's Siesta Scripture Memory Challenge for 2011. http://blog.lproof.org/2010/12/siesta-scripture-memory-instructions.html I was a bit disappoint that we wouldn't actually be napping while memorizing, but I still agreed to do it. We are committing to memorize a verse of our choice on the 1st and 15th of each month and post it on the blog. I posted Eccl 3:11 yesterday. "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end." This verse spoke to me in that I think we cannot even begin to grasp all that God is doing by bringing Eme into our family. I cannot wait to see how it unfolds.

Hope everyone is enjoying a restful Sunday afternoon nap. Jack is not one of them - not even an hour, little turkey. So, he will be running some errands with me at Walmart and Toys R Us while John finishes up his nap.

Beyond Blessed! ~ Erin
