Well, we have confused Jack already because back when we started our adoption journey we were calling our little China baby to be, Zoe. When we received our referral back in mid-October, John and I quickly agreed we didn't think the name fit. Don't ask why, I have no answer!
We don't know too much about Emerson Mei at this point. Her given name is Dang Mei Ting and she is from the Henan province. She will turn one on November 20th. Her special need (SN) is her cleft lip/cleft palate. The referral information was from June/July and stated that her cl/cp was unrepaired at that time.
